For the town hall meeting in your district, go to:We know that the budget will be the main topic of these gatherings. We also know that the anti-tax, anti-government voices will be there insisting that social service programs be slashed even further instead of the legislature identifying new revenue sources. We NEED you to be there with an alternative message. Our legislators must not sacrifice care for the poor, sick and elderly, education for our youth and protections for our environment. We must not once again ‘balance’ the budget on the backs of children and our most vulnerable residents.
