The three Quaker Voice working groups are represented on our home page. Check those pages for current information on their priorities and for resources in each issue area.
You can increase your effectiveness in an issue area by becoming active in a working group.
- The working groups, along with the Legislative Advocate, meet at the QV Annual Meeting, monthly by phone or videoconference during the legislative session, and every other month when the legislature is not meeting.
- The working groups build knowledge and connections in their areas over time and each year determine the specific pieces of legislation they will ask Quakers to advocate with their legislators at Quaker Lobby Day.
- The working groups also support broader sets of bills and initiatives through letters of support or by listing them on the Quaker Voice web page.
